Riparbella is a town in the Val di Cecina located at the southern end of the Pisan Hills. In contrast to neighboring countries, the urban structure of circular Riparbella grew longitudinally along the main road.
Of its medieval origin retains the Church of San Giovanni, where every year from Christmas to February is prepared a mechanical crib.
Nearby, in the town Belora, they were found remains of an Etruscan necropolis, some of which are on display at the Guarnacci Museum of Volterra and the Hermitage in Moscow. The area is part
in the Natural Reserve-The Garden Belora-Cecina River, which provides an ideal habitat for species that live in wetlands.
The Environmental Education Center organizes educational activities and guided excursions for the sighting of animals and birds.
Among the events we point out the traditional Festival of the wild boar (third Sunday of November), with dishes based on hunting, and Agrifiera (first Sunday and Monday of August), former cattle market today turned on the horse fair with horse shows.
